Academy Players Livin' Their Dream
Congratulations to two of our Summer Academy veterans! Both players recently completed their collegiate careers, and have been given opportunity to continue competing at a higher level.
Shelley Lyle (U. of Florida, SA'07) was recently called up to the US Women's U23 National Team. The team recently returned from competing in England.
Tim Conway (Nyack College, SA'06 and '07) was recently selected in the MLS supplemental draft by the Chicago Fire. Tim is currently playing with the Fire's reserve team.
Both of these players have been a tremendous part of our Summer Academy program, and we wish them God's blessings as they continue to pursue their soccer dreams!

Collegiate Men and Women
Made any summer plans yet? Thought about doing something that really counts?
Consider the Chicago Eagles Summer Academy 2008!
One men's and one women's U23 soccer team, competing in the Illinois State Soccer Association.
Two months of intense soccer training and spiritual growth!
We'll start with a four-day training camp. And then it's off to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where we will not only get to play soccer, but we'll run clinics and camps for underprivileged children, and work closely with churches, using soccer as our platform to share our faith in God.
After tour, we'll return to Chicago, where we'll continue to train and play matches in the local ISSA U23 league, run soccer camps (you'll get paid for these!), work in the inner city, and experience five great weeks of becoming all that God designed you to be - both on and off the field!
During this time, you'll experience our sports ministry training curriculum, which is built on practical, Biblical principles that help you integrate your faith in your sport.
You'll be challenged with coaching kids and leadership skills that will stick with you long after the summer's over. And you'll make friendships that may just last a lifetime!
This program is open to collegiate soccer players who 1) want to grow in their faith and love for God 2) want to raise the level of their game in preparation for their Fall season 3) may have an interest in full time sports ministry
