The Eagles are spreading our wings and launching a new area of ministry, called SIGNS. (Serving In God's Name through Sports). SIGNS is a ministry focused toward the deaf community and reaching them through sports.

Did you know that less than 1% of the deaf community attends church on a regular basis? That means that less than 1% of the deaf community is hearing the Gospel. Want to know more?

Chicago Eagles Golf Outing / Silent Auction

May 14, 2008

Each Spring, the Eagles tee it up, raising funds for our ongoing urban ministries, as well as our global outreach. This golf outing, along with our silent auction, has enabled dozens of boys and girls to have a great week of soccer camp. These funds will also assist us in touching the lives of boys and girls in our work in Brazil.

Community Outreach

The Chicago Eagles are committed to sharing the love of Christ to all cultures. This means reaching the people in our own neighborhoods. Local ministry is designed to encompass a spectrum of opportunities for delivering Christ’s love to the Chicago area. Our local ministry reaches out to the rich and poor, young and old, Christian and non-Christian. We invite you to look more in depth at several of our local ministry outreaches.

International Outreach

In partnership with World Relief and local churches, these sessions are intended to give refugee children a caring and fun environment while playing a game they love, while also hearing the relevant message of the Gospel.

Coaching Clinics

Our clinics give the experienced Eagles’ staff an opportunity to share their knowledge and training tips with coaches and players in the community. Staff are also involved in coaching high school and club soccer in the area.

Player Discipleship
Throughout the year, our staff are involved in discipleship of high school, collegiate and professional soccer players. Small group Bible studies, as well as one-on-one mentoring, provide the framework for spiritual transformation.

Public Speaking
By itself or surrounding a soccer outreach, these opportunities provide an exciting platform for sharing how the Lord is working through this ministry, both locally as well as in other countries.
