Eagles and IWU Men's Team
Travel to Amazon
The Chicago Eagles led the NCCAA
national champion Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer team to the Brazilian
Amazon. During their trip, they
traveled by boat up the Amazon, stopping off in several villages along the
way. The group participated in several soccer matches, along
with soccer clinics for boys and girls, and visits to several schools
and a prison.
They ran a soccer camp for Project Grow, a program that
combines soccer, tutoring, and Christian training for underprivileged
children.
