MAI Soccer Tours are a great way to use your God-given abilities in soccer to reach people for Christ.  Tours offer quality soccer and ministry experiences through pre-tour training, matches, clinics, tournaments and various other outreach opportunities in country.  MAI has taken tours overseas for over twenty years to countries such as Brazil, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Uruguay, Spain, Germany, Guatemala, Mexico, India and many others.

The Chicago Eagles are excited to return to Brazil for the fourth year in a row. This year we will be playing matches and working in Rio de Janeiro and the surrounding area, partnering with teams and churches in ongoing ministry strategies. The Eagles’ goal is to train and equip Christian athletes to intentionally use the game of soccer as a platform for sharing their personal faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that an Eagles’ tour can have a lasting impact on how you view both the game of soccer and your individual walk with God.

Our time will promise to be a life-changing experience. Before we depart for Brazil,  we will hold a three day training camp in Wheaton, IL. This time will involve intense soccer and sports ministry training. During training camp we will train together on the field, build relationships as teammates and receive training on how to apply our faith on the field.  

While on the tour we will be partnering with local missionaries, churches and schools. Our days will be filled with clinics, friendly matches, traveling, and ministering with local churches. We will also find time to enjoy the friendly culture and natural beauty of Brazil as well.

The tour will stretch each individual player on and off the field. The challenge for a true sports minister is to compete at his/her highest level while maintaining a strong testimony for the Lord. This trip is open to any collegiate soccer player interested in sports ministry. While this trip is part of the Summer Academy, this tour is also open to those who cannot commit to the entire summer.
