The Chicago Eagles are a division of Missionary Athletes International (MAI)
MAI is committed to sharing the message of Jesus Christ through the environment of soccer. We accomplish this by training in sports ministry, doing sports ministry, and deploying sports ministers as a resource to the body of Christ. We do our ministry through four different avenues of soccer: camps, local ministry events, international tours, and teams.

History
Founded in 1983, MAI is a nonprofit Christian soccer organization based in Charlotte, NC. Our offices are located in Los Angeles, CA; Charlotte, NC; and Wheaton, IL. MAI is a support-based faith mission with each staff person raising his/her own funds to serve with the ministry through tax-deductible contributions.
The Chicago office began in 1997 with the vision of working primarily with collegiate and high school athletes. Through a variety of programs, our goal has been to train and equip young men and women as sports ministers. We also work alongside partners throughout the world, assisting with training seminars and outreach programs.
Programs
MAI annually conducts more than 30 camps worldwide; hosts clinics in the
inner cities and in prisons; enters teams into local competitive
leagues; and takes select-team tours around the world to compete against
top amateur and professional clubs. To date, MAI has ministered in over
40 countries, assisting churches and local sports ministries in ongoing
endeavors. Through each of these ministry events, players and staff are
given the opportunity to live out their Christian faith, both on and
off the field.
