The Eagles have announced Garrett Bireline as the men’s coach for 2010. Garrett was an All-American scholar at Marion High School and hascontinued his playing career at Bowling Green State University. He is an exercise science major at BGSU and desires to pursue a future in sports ministry.
With Garrett’s experience of playing at the Division 1 level, knowledge of the game, and past experience with the Eagles, he is ready to take on a new role. Coach G says, “I am excited about the opportunity to coach this upcoming summer. Most importantly, I am honored to serve God with the talents and gifts that I have been given, and also to give back to the ministry that has changed my view and perspective on competing in athletics at a high level, while keeping an image for Christ. I hope to help the athletes gain a better grasp of competing as a believer in Jesus Christ, in addition to providing challenging and competitive training/conditioning programs, to prepare them for their upcoming season both physically and spiritually.”
