We believe soccer is the key to inviting players and families into our club, but it is so much more than that! We play a game to change the world. We seek to empower players to impact those around them. Our coaches are trained, equipped, and prepared to lead players on a new path of transformation and discipleship all for the glory of Jesus Christ.
WHAT IS URBAN MINISTRY?
Chicago Eagles combine the power of youth sports with transformational coaching to develop players and transform communities.
Our Urban Ministry strategically plants staff in communities that are under resourced. We identify these communities in partnership with city officials, school leadership, and church leadership.
Soccer provides common ground and a structure; player discipleship is the heart.
We use sports ministry training, recreational soccer, community activities, and competitive soccer to build community and disciple players.
Chicago Eagles teams train, travel, and compete in various leagues in the western suburbs.
We are more than just a youth team experience, because we believe soccer is more than just a game.
